    This excursion takes place in the rainforest, we do recommend bringing a raincoat during the rainy season which goes from September to November. This excursion operates rain or shine, of course, our operator will consider your safety first.
    Do I need to take my passport with me on the Puerto Limon Tropical Rainforest Walk and Banana Plantation Excursion to show with my Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket?
    No, it is not necessary to take along your passport unless noted by your cruise line or listed in the Restrictions or Notes tab for the excursion. Your local operator has your booking noted. Please arrive with a printed copy of your eticket or digital copy if applicable.

    • A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
    • Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
    • Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.

Really impressed on my recent visit to Costa Rica. The Cahuita Park is full of nature, green forest, cascade, beach, and lots of wild creatures on its natural habitat. This was my favorite part, although the banana plantation was good and interesting.

A lovely and educational tour. Full of nature and wild animals. This should be a top contender for families with children since is entertaining and educational. Definitely will return with my grandchildren next time.

This tour was interesting, educational and visited a real banana plantation. My wife and I got to see the highlights of area plus some interesting info from our guide. I like seeing the wildlife during the walk which by the way was not strenuous but I suggest you heed the note to bring bug spray!

This place should not be missed if you like Eco based activities. We saw toucans flying overhead, walked across a bridge in the trees and got to see a real working banana plantation. Outstanding!
