    For the Costa Maya Express Guided 2 Reef Snorkeling by Boat Excursion, you will take a short shuttle ride from your cruise pier. All details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

    No, it is not necessary to take along your passport unless noted by your cruise line or listed in the Restrictions or Notes tab for the excursion. Your local operator has your booking noted. Please arrive with a printed copy of your eticket or digital copy if applicable.

    For the Costa Maya Guided 2 Reef Boat Snorkel Excursion, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 48 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.

    For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:

    • Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
    • Your ship skips/misses the port.
    • Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
    • A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
    • Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
    • Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.

Enjoy snorkeling at 2 different reef sites. Locations are close by so travel time by boat is minimal! Spend time at the beach!

We added this to our day pass at Yaya beach. We really had a great time on the boat, the guides were not only very professionals but also did their best to keep us entertained. I really like snorkeling but for first time we took our 13 years old boy to do snorkel with us, we really appreciated that the guide took extremely care of him, he was the youngest of the group. As a father, I felt at ease seeing that my son was having fun doing something new. I highly recommend these guys.

My wife and I went on this snorkeling excursion this past week as an add on to our stay at the Ya Ya Beach Club. We had a fantastic time, we saw lots of fish, pretty coral, and even a huge sea turtle! My wife had never snorkeled before and was a little nervous. Our guide was such a good sport and brought one of those life saver rings that she could hold on to and he basically dragged her along for the hour long tour along the reef. We tipped him a little extra for that. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to do snorkeling in the area.

Lucas, dive master, and his crew were awesome! They were there consistently, from the time we walked to boat until leaving for the day, this was a well trained considerate group who were totally prepped for a great afternoon snorkel! The dive zone was colorful and active. Lucas was always there pointing out reefs, fish, turtles and eel! Would definitely return to this group again.

We had a blast on this excursion! Our family of three included myself, my husband, and our 11-year old son. We’ve snorkeled a couple of times before, and I highly recommend this for all levels. Tony was our guide, and he was fantastic! He took great care of us. We saw tons of fish, sea urchin, and even got to swim with some sea turtles!

The tour provider was top notch! Very professional staff, new equipment and high quality all around. The reef was amazing and just a few minutes boat ride from our meeting location. Our guide, Lucas, was very friendly and knowledgeable. We saw rays and sea turtles on our trip! Getting to the meeting place was a little tricky. The Costa Maya cruise port is built to keep people in. Give yourself extra time to wind your way through the shops. It takes a while to get outside of the shopping area to the outside where you can meet your taxi.

We saw a lot of fish, turtles and sting rays, even some moray eels! We had a good day. The boat was hard to get in and out of though, the guide was helpful and friendly. Great tour for the price! We did have to get there and back on our own. We took a shuttle there and a taxi back to the pier.

We did this last month. We had the all inclusive package at Ya Ya but also wanted some snorkeling. It was really worth it. We got great snorkeling in and then we were able to get some beach time, eat time and relax time. Loved this place.
