You will meet your English-speaking St. Maarten Speedboat and Snorkel Excursion guide just a short 10-minute walk from the Philipsburg cruise ship pier (a 10-minute taxi ride from Marigot cruise terminal in Sint Marten). Your English-speaking Captain and crew will welcome you onboard and after a brief safety presentation, you will be ready to start the snorkel adventure.
Cruise onboard a very comfortable powerboat with twin outboard engines. With a professional and friendly crew spoiling you, enjoy great snorkeling for all the family and refreshments onboard. The open bar onboard includes sodas, beers, rum, juices, and water. All snorkel gear is included.
As you cruise along the coast, have your camera ready for breathtaking views of Saba and St. Barth. Head out past Simpson Bay Lagoon, home to luxury million-dollar mega yachts and spectacular views.
Your powerboat ride will take you under the bridges, which signal the French border, and continue to the beautiful uninhabited island of Tintamarre for 30 minutes of snorkeling with the sea turtles. Your guide will pass out your snorkeling gear, demonstrate how to use it, and then assist each guest into the water. Follow the guide through water on this fun experience.
From Tintamarre, you will continue on to Pinel Island and enjoy another snorkel session. The guide will again lead you snorkeling. If you prefer, head over to the island and discover the colorful resident iguanas. The stop at Pinel Island will be approximately 45 minutes. Once back onboard, you will continue to Creole Rock for your final snorkel stop. Creole Rock is part of the French National Park and is famously abundant for colorful marine life. You can see parrotfish, sergeant majors, and hard and soft corals but to name a few. Your guide will point out some of the beautiful marine life.
From Creole Rock, you will journey just 5 minutes to Grand Case. Enjoy a complimentary delicious lunch at a local restaurant. Drinks are not included at lunch but may be purchased.
After lunch, cruise to Long Beach, for a one-hour visit where you can relax on an idyllic Caribbean beach, take a stroll, request to snorkel some more, or sip a cocktail at the popular fun floating bar. Drink costs are not included.
Before the day ends you will stop at Maho beach to see the planes landing a few feet above your head.
Return to the dock and take a short walk back to the Philipsburg cruise terminal after your St. Maarten Island Adventure. For those guests at the Marigot cruise terminal, it is just a short 10-minute taxi ride back. Taxi costs are not included.
