Catch glimpses of fishing villages, the "love tunnel" and the occasional dolphin as you travel by powerboat to secluded private beaches where picturesque blue water awaits for you to dive in for snorkeling. The poweboat holds a maximum of 20 passengers so you know it will not be a crowded tour. Snack on fresh fruit and sip rum punch, soda or water aboard the powerboat.
Once your ship has docked in St. Lucia you will disembark to meet your guide right at the port. Your guide will take you directly to your boat, no need to board additional transportation, making it an easy start to your adventure. Sit back and enjoy the ride as you cruise along the beautiful coastline, keep an eye out for quaint fishing villages. With a little luck, a pod of dolphins will play in the wake of the powerboat as you cruise by the "Love Tunnel" featured in the movie Pirates of the Caribbean!
Spot the Piton Mountains as you near your snorkel locations, Sugar Beach. The snorkeling will be done by the shore after your guide has given you your snorkel equipment and a brief class if needed. You will have 1 hour to snorkel in the beautiful drop off around the Piton. Keep a lookout for turtles, eels and many different kinds of fish!
Hop back on the powerboat and take off towards a secluded beach. This beach is only accessible by the water or a 20-minute hike through the jungle from the road, so not many visit. Located at the base of Gros Piton you will love the white sand and jungle views. You will have another hour to relax and catch some rays or swim in the warm turquoise waters.
After relaxing and enjoying this amazing beach break you will board the powerboat again to cruise back to port. Along the way, they will take you through Marigot Bay, a historical site that was the location of many battles between the navies of Britain and France. It is also a naturally created hurricane shelter for many local boats when storms are on the horizon.
Arrive back at your St. Lucia cruise port, disembarking near your cruise ship.
