    Meeting Point

    For this St. Maarten Discover SCUBA Diving with Boat Dive Excursion, you will meet directly at your cruise terminal for private transportation to the SCUBA Dive Center. Transportation cost ($14.00 round trip per person) is not included in the price and has to be paid in cash upon arrival. The price is the same for a public taxi, with our transportation we guarantee availability and quality of service. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.


    What is included?
    • Transportation cost is not included in this excursion, however, we use a private transportation company at the same cost as a local taxi however we can guarantee the availability and quality of the transportation (20-minute ride). The cost is $16.00 USD round trip per person and needs to be paid in cash.
    • All necessary equipment including classroom kit, snorkel equipment with mask, snorkel, and fins, BCD (inflatable diving jacket), wet suit, weights, belt, regulator, and tank. If you have your own equipment, please feel free to bring it.
    • Bottled water throughout the Discover Scuba Diving Excursion.
    • Boats are equipped with a First Aid Kit and Oxygen Kit.
    • Note that there is a $3.00 USD Marine Park fee that is paid in cash to the operator (not included in the excursion price).
    Excursion Notes
      • Please download and print the following PADI SCUBA Dive Medical Statement (PDF document) and complete it prior to participation. It is required that you bring this completed form and any other required notes or paperwork.
      • Please pay attention to the restrictions and requirements for this excursion, no refund will be granted if the requirements are not met.
      • Additional departure times are subject to availability, please contact us.
      • Please bring along sunblock, swimsuit, towel, change of clothes, and cash for souvenirs, snacks, tips, transportation, etc.
      • For your ride back to the cruise terminal, you may decide to drop off at a local beach, town, etc.
      • The 2 Tank SCUBA Diving lasts 4 hours.
      • There is a $3.00 USD Marine Park Fee that must be paid, per person, to the operator.
    • Not available on Sundays
    Excursion Restrictions
    • Guests must be in good health.
    • Diving is subject to health restrictions, it is not recommended for guests with diabetes, asthma, heart problems, and women during pregnancy.
    • We recommend asking your doctor if SCUBA diving is right for you. Your local operator will go over these details with you as well.
    • The minimum participation age is 10 years old.
    • Children must be accompanied by a participating adult or guardian.
    • Guests under the influence of alcohol or drugs may not be able to participate and no refund will be granted in this situation.
    • Each participant must present a diver's logbook stamped showing the dive within the past year required and a valid dive card in hand.
    • This St. Maarten 2-Tank SCUBA Diving Excursion by Boat may involve risks. We suggest you check with your elected person of choice to see if these possible risks might affect you.

    I have been diving before however it is quite some time ago. Is my certification still valid to participate in this SCUBA Diving Excursion?
    If your last logged SCUBA Dive is more than one year ago, we recommend taking a refresher course. Please let us know if you like a refresher course so we can coordinate it with this excursion.
    What do I absolutely need in order to go diving?
    The most important thing of all is your certification card. Log books are great to keep a track of where have you been diving and noting each experience you had but a dive card is a necessity for you to get on the dives if you are a certified diver. Our dive center can check with your certification agency if you lost your card but make sure to inform us of your data prior to the day you are diving to avoid any disappointments should we need not be able to track your information down.
    Do I need to take my passport with me on the St. Maarten 2-Tank SCUBA Diving Excursion by Boat to show with my Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket?
    No, it is not necessary to take along your passport unless noted by your cruise line or listed in the Restrictions or Notes tab for the excursion. Your local operator has your booking noted. Please arrive with a printed copy of your eticket or digital copy if applicable.
    Cancellation

    For the St. Maarten 2-Tank SCUBA Diving Excursion by Boat, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 24 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.

    For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:

    • Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
    • Your ship skips/misses the port.
    • Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
    • A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
    • Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
    • Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.

I'm glad we choose this dive excursion, is a very affordable price and top quality option. The boat is small so the attention is very personalized and our dive master was experienced and professional. We had the opportunity to see beautiful fish and the rays as well, ok, only one but it was really cool. After the dive, we stayed at the beach to have lunch and a couple of drinks so we had to pay a taxi to come back but that wasn't a problem.

Friends of ours actually recommended these guys for a great dive tour. We checked the website and didn't waste any time booking. So glad that we did, though we should have done the 2 tank. The diving was beyond awesome. The crew was great and they have a very, very nice boat. Now we will continue the cycle and recommend to others as well. We would like to dive with these folks again when we can.

Being avid divers we are always looking to explore a new spot. When we booked this cruise we did alittle research and found this tour. We are so lucky we booked it! This was a great dive and we saw so much more than we expected for the great price offered. Marine life was everywhere and we had never seen so much. We have to recommend this dive tour for sure. The crew is outstanding, friendly and they encourage you to explore. We will go back out with them should we return some day.
