Discover Curacao on a fun and fascinating snorkel and scenic shore excursion. View natural blowholes with a knowledgeable guide as well as scenery, stunning beaches, and wildlife.

Meet your English-speaking guide by the cruise pier and hop in the back of your open-air transportation. You will set off towards the wide-open island desert where the locals refer to the area as the "Planes of Hato". As you ride along the rugged coastline, your guide will tell you more about the volcanic and coral geological origins of Curacao and how the sea has created the three distinct plateaus of the island, clearly visible in this specific area.

Continue to several isolated bays where large waves crash into the coral cliffs creating natural blowholes. These blowholes spray the seawater and foam through a chute up into the air displaying colorful fountains and rainbows as the water sprays down so watch how close you get! Nearby wildlife such as herons, frigate birds, and Caracaras can be seen here. Watch for lizards and iguanas too.

Enjoy Shete Boca National Park, surrounded by rugged and rocky formations. Depending on sea conditions, take a visit to Boca Tabla where the sea and wind have created a cave-in where waves enter impressively with a loud roar.

Head from North to South where the scenery changes from a dry arid climate to a green hilly coast dotted by natural white beaches. At the beach, your shore excursion guide will pass out your snorkel gear, show you how to use it, and then lead you into the water from shore where you will enjoy a 30-minute guided snorkel tour to see the famous and colorful underwater world of Curacao. You just might see a hawksbill sea turtle! For those guests who would rather not snorkel, they can relax and remain on the beach until the snorkel is completed.

Also, note that the price of lunch is NOT included but guests have the option to purchase. Your guide will give you a menu from a well-known restaurant that serves great local dishes. If you wish to eat, your order will be placed in advance so wait time at the restaurant is minimum.

After your snorkel, dry off, board the open-air safari-style bus and head back to your cruise ship terminal in Curacao.
