    Meeting Point

    For this Livorno Tuscany Countryside Volterra, San Gimignano, Wine Tasting and Lunch Excursion, you will meet your local excursion staff at the Livorno Cruise Port's Transportation Hub, located near the main entrance to the port. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket. Please allow enough time to catch the port shuttle to the transportation hub for your departure.

    Excursion Notes
      • Excursion prices displayed are quoted in US dollars.
      • When visiting religious or memorial sites, please ensure that shoulders and knees are covered for both men and women.
      • We suggest you have cash (Euros) for refreshments, excursion staff gratuities, shopping, etc.
      • Sensible, rubber-soled walking shoes are highly recommended along with sun protection.
      • Children's prices do NOT include wine tasting or lunch.

      • Please be aware that due to security measures, the Port of Livorno may delay excursion vehicles from entering the pier area all at once, or may space ships out at 5 different piers which are a distance from each other. These changes are often done on the morning of the excursion and are not announced until they happen. We will do everything we can to work around this but please understand we have no control over the port authority and we appreciate your understanding and patience. All sites mentioned on the excursion will be seen. If the port authority causes any delays, (and time allows), any lost time at the beginning of the excursion will be included at the end.
      • Please pay attention to the restrictions and requirements for this excursion, if the shore excursion's requirements are not met, no refund will be granted.

Just great. With plenty of time in port, my boyfriend and I took this excursion and we had a blast. All the tour is well organized since the pickup. Along the way, the guide made us aware of the important information and pointing out all that might be interesting. Volterra was such a beautiful place. But our favorite part was the lunch and wine tasting. Molto delizioso!

This was an amazing trip! Francesco picked us up right on time! Actually, we left a little early! The van we were in was very nice with good AC! There were 7 of us on the trip, and our group was a lot of fun! Francesco knew just how to make the most out of the experience by playing the right music in the van and showing us "secret" places in the towns. The winery was incredibly special, as was the wine! We were given a drink of our choice (coffee, water, soft drink) at every stop which is much appreciated on a hot summer day. This is most definitely a wonderful value for the distance and amount of time we spent on the trip! One word of caution: If you suffer from motion sickness, take precautions ahead of time as the roads are curvy going up and down the mountains!

Our family of 4 enjoyed this tour very much! The farm we went to was lovely and had very gracious hosts there! Served 5 wine tastings and Italian breads, cheeses and meats...yummy! Beautiful landscape to see"..fun to learn about wine vineyards in Italy. Guide was knowledgeable and very good! A great day in Tuscany!
