      • We suggest you wear comfortable clothes, bring sun protection, a camera, cash for tips, etc.

    Will we see whales on this Grand Turk Cruise Excursion?
    You are guaranteed to see wildlife. Although, sightings of whales during the season are excellent, but never guaranteed. Mother Nature is unpredictable although your shore excursion captain will try his best to find the whales off the Grand Turk island coast.
    Can I bring my camera?
    Of course! But please be aware and take precautions with all the electronics you bring on the boat. There may be spray from the water and possibly from the whales.
    How close will we get?
    As close enough that the law allows. The boats are required to keep a respectful distance for the safety of the whales.
    Will the whales flip over the boat?
    No, they are highly intelligent creatures that know exactly where you are. The whale-watching captain will also keep the boat far enough away so as not to disturb the whales.
    Do I need to take my passport with me on the Grand Turk Up-Close Whale Watching Excursion to show with my Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket?
    No, it is not necessary to take along your passport unless noted by your cruise line or listed in the Restrictions or Notes tab for the excursion. Your local operator has your booking noted. Please arrive with a printed copy of your eticket or digital copy if applicable.
    Cancellation

    For the Grand Turk Up-Close Whale Watching Excursion, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 24 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.

    For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:

    • Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
    • Your ship skips/misses the port.
    • Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
    • A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
    • Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
    • Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.

Have the chance to see some of the largest mammals on earth on this shore excursion...the migrating whales off the coast of Grand Turk Island. Small groups only for great Caribbean whale viewing!

This was the highlight of our cruise. We travel on a boat not too far from the ship's pier and encounter a whale with a calf, it was amazing to watch them swim together. The captain was very careful to don´t disturbed them but took us a bit closer to take a couple of pictures. On the way back to the pier, we saw a family of dolphins, they follow our boat for a while and gave some jump around us. it was magical!

This is a very enjoyable activity. We saw 5 or 6 whales jumping and splashing, my kids couldn't stop smiling, it fast a fantastic moment. A lot better that watch trained whales on Sea Word!
