Your Ketchikan Zip Line Park Excursion begins as you board your motorcoach at your Ketchikan cruise ship pier for a scenic, narrated 25-minute drive out of downtown Knudson Cove, an "off the beaten track" waterfront property in the Tongass National Forest, and your zip line excursion playground for the next 2 hours. The zip line canopy excursion park includes eight ziplines and eight unique aerial traverses, which make this Alaska shore excursion from Ketchikan a diverse and interactive adventure excursion experience for everyone!

Before you begin your Ketchikan Zip Line Park Shore Excursion, the professional excursion guides will instruct and outfit you in the open-air forest pavilion with the best safety equipment. After ground instruction, your 90-minute canopy adventure begins as gravity will pull you along a series of eight zip lines and eight connecting elements. You will catch glimpses of bald eagles and the Ketchikan Alaskan ocean below as you glide through old-growth cedars. Fly into an ancient cedar tree onto the Eagle's Nest Platform, traverse a swaying log, swing across rope loops, feel the speed and acceleration of landing onto an ocean platform located 50' over the water, and the rush of zipping to a soft landing.

Once back on the ground, head over to the 50 - foot climbing tower where your zip line excursion guides will show you the techniques needed to climb to the top. A circular staircase inside the tower enables others to climb up, take in the mountain and ocean views, and snap photos of climbers proudly ringing the bell at the top of the wall.
